Working in collaboration with your in-houses design team
I offer a wealth of knowledge and experience specializing 
in all related technical requirements. 

I have worked with various sectors of the textile industry 
including working for many successful designers assisting
with their range development through to working for the MOD 
in protective textiles. I have consumed an abundant variety of 
experience, which enables me to take on any challenge.

Base in the heart of the UK I have been providing bespoke
textile services for over 30 years working on both
Gerber Accumark / Assyst CAD CAM systems.

Introduction to Pattern Cutting: Taster Course

duration 4-hours

   

This is a 4-hour taster course

Aimed to provide an insight into the skills of pattern cutting.

   

To enable an individual to have an understanding of the basic pattern cutting skills to transform a 2D flat pattern into a 3D workable shape for the individual or industry

  • Measuring Technique
  • Demonstration of drafting using measurements
  • Dart Manipulation
  • Understanding of Gathers & Pleats



Introduction to Pattern Cutting 2 day Short Course

Level: Basic / Intermediate

   

Basic Pattern cutting introductory course has been tailored to fit the needs of those wanting to achieve the basic principles of pattern drafting. It is designed to be flexible to the individual’s needs and does not assume any prior knowledge of the subject.

   

To enable an individual to have an understanding of the basic pattern cutting skills to transform a 2D flat pattern into a 3D workable shape for the individual or industry
